Regulatory brief: Pilot medical applications center of Congressional investigation

The brief explains that a federal investigation uncovered cases in which pilots held valid FAA medical certificates while simultaneously receiving disability benefits for potentially disqualifying conditions. The organization advocates for a balanced approach that improves integrity in the medical certification system without discouraging pilots from seeking care or self-reporting medical issues.
